In 1977, Cherokee Construction was founded by James F. Williams with the core values of providing professional construction services, on schedule completion, high quality products, and cost efficient buildings. In 1985, we were incorporated as B&W Contractors Inc. dba Cherokee Construction. We are a family owned and operated commercial, industrial, and residential general contractor with an emphasis on metal buildings. Cherokee Construction maintains our own in-house steel erection, framing, and concrete crews.
Cherokee Construction has an unlimited license in Tennessee and Georgia and is fully bonded and insured. The company will be certified in 2015 as a DBE for being a woman owned business.
Cherokee Construction is dedicated to providing a safe and drug-free environment for our employees. We also have a written safety program that is administered by our safety director and which follows OSHA guidelines.
We strive to achieve diversity in the types of work we contract. Our recent projects include fire stations, airport facilities including T-hangars, churches, educational buildings, retail centers, office buildings, and min-warehouses.
